Year 4 pupils at St John Vianney in Hartlepool enjoyed an exciting and educational trip, exploring key historical sites including Hadrian’s Wall and Cragside. Year 4 Get Gardening!

Our Year 4 pupils have been busy in the garden this afternoon, getting hands-on and making the most of the outdoors.  From planting beautiful flowers to rolling up their sleeves and getting a little muddy along the way, the children worked incredibly hard to create something special. Their enthusiasm and teamwork really shone through, and they should be very proud of their efforts.

Year 5 Adventure at Pybus

Our Year 5 children have arrived safely at Pybus and are already making the most of their exciting residential experience! They enjoyed lunch in the sunshine and have been gathering their energy ahead of setting up their tents—adventure truly awaits! Although the weather later took a turn, it hasn’t dampened spirits one bit. With the rain setting in, Year 5 brought the cooking indoors, where our budding chefs took turns in the kitchen, creating delicious treats and making wonderful memories together.

Year 4 Explore Outdoor Skills with The West View Project

Earlier this week, our Year 4 pupils enjoyed a fantastic session with the West View Project, taking part in a hands-on outdoor learning experience. During the session, the children developed valuable outdoor living skills, including building tents and preparing their own leek and potato soup. These practical activities encouraged teamwork, problem-solving and confidence as pupils worked together to complete each task.
