St John Vianney Catholic Primary School is celebrating a wonderful day of learning, as Year 1 pupils enjoyed an exciting visit to Beamish Museum.

The trip provided a fantastic opportunity for children to experience history first-hand, helping bring learning about the past to life in a fun and memorable way.

Immersive Learning Experience

Throughout the day, pupils fully embraced everything Beamish had to offer. By exploring the museum and engaging with historical settings, the children were able to:

  • Experience what life was like in the past
  • Deepen their understanding of history through real-world environments
  • Take part in hands-on, immersive learning
