Learning Gratitude Through Teamwork and Experience

Earlier this week, our Year 4 pupils enjoyed a fantastic session with the West View Project, taking part in a hands-on outdoor learning experience.

During the session, the children developed valuable outdoor living skills, including building tents and preparing their own leek and potato soup. These practical activities encouraged teamwork, problem-solving and confidence as pupils worked together to complete each task.

Alongside the hands-on learning, the session also provided an important opportunity for reflection. Pupils explored the idea of gratitude, thinking about the importance of the homes we have and how we can appreciate them each day.

It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, cooperation and engagement from all involved.

Well done, Year 4—a brilliant example of teamwork and positive attitudes!
