We have had a truly wonderful day of Easter celebrations across the whole school, filled with reflection, joy, and community spirit.
We began the morning with Year 5 leading our Collective Worship, focusing on the powerful message of Jesus washing the feet of others. This meaningful act reminded us all of the importance of kindness, humility, and serving one another, setting a thoughtful and prayerful tone for the day.
Throughout the day, Year 6 took on the important role of judging the Early Years Easter Egg Hat Competition. They had the difficult task of choosing winners from a fantastic selection of creative and imaginative designs. A huge thank you to all the children—and parents—who took part; every entry was amazing, and the effort across the board was outstanding.
Our Reception children also enjoyed an exciting Easter Egg Hunt in the play area, filled with teamwork, laughter, and lots of happy smiles as they searched for hidden treats.
We finished the day with our Easter Raffle, where children from across the school were randomly selected to win Easter eggs—a lovely way to bring our celebrations to a joyful close.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special and to all who took part. It was a beautiful celebration of Easter and our school community.
