In November, Year 4 pupils at St. John Vianney Catholic Primary School enjoyed an unforgettable day of outdoor learning with the amazing team from West View Project. The session was packed with hands-on activities designed to teach practical outdoor survival skills, including how to safely cook over an open fire.

The highlight of the day? Tasting a freshly fire-cooked crumpet—everyone agreed it was absolutely delicious!

Experiences like these are more than just fun; they help our pupils develop confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for nature. A huge thank you to West View Project for creating such a memorable and educational experience for our children.
